sunrise

the morning i took these pictures was so peaceful. i woke up and just knew that God had a beautiful plan for me. i took a walk down to the lake close to where my family and i were staying. it was before six a.m. and no one else was out. it was such a peaceful morning, the birds were singing and i saw deer on my way to the lake. i took a succession of pictures every minute as the sun rose. unfortunately, these words and pictures don't begin to capture the glorious beauty of the sunrise that morning.

the last time i visited my grandparents my sisters and i went on an adventure to some abandoned places....a house and a place with some old railroad equipment.

these are a few photos from my trip to Tennessee. creation is so beautiful, i love the challenge of capturing this in a photo.

so we meet again

i always have so much fun taking pictures of these kids! they were the first family i ever photographed beyond my family. we also have a special bond because i've known them since birth. we all had so much fun hanging out in the beautiful spring weather and snapping a few shots along the way. the kids think of it as a game and had so much fun.
